The Most reputed Company Cut Costs!

Google announced the first layoffs in the company's history earlier this year, when it eliminated 100 recruiter positions in January. The company has also taken such measures to cut costs as reducing the hours of its food service and giving employees cellphones instead of year-end cash bonuses.

Google would cut 200 jobs in its sales and marketing division. The global economic crisis is levying a severe impact on advertising spending at all levels - including, to some extent, search engines. The layoffs represent the latest round of cuts at the Mountain View Internet powerhouse. As the economy has slowed, Google has throttled back on expenses.

The affected employees will be encouraged to look for other opportunities within Google.
