The budget of the film too had gone up from Rs 4 crore to Rs 13 crore. Despite all this, the release of the film was also delayed by two days losing two valuable holidays during the Sankaranti season. Despite all these hurdles, the film has hit the screen finally and has earned a positive talk. Though not a good entertainer, the film will have a good run because of word-of-mouth publicity.
The movie is produced by Sri Thenandal Films of Rama Narayanan. The tamil Movie is released all over the world from 20th March 2009. The movie has got right mixture of content and technology . The film has more violence and it is advised not to take children to the movie. Story and the screenplay is excellent. The story (flashback scenes) are shown in parts and this makes to stick to the screenplay.
